Mike Trail is a foundational member of the MCB team, having been an early hire by Peter Pinkard and P. David Bramble to execute their vision of uplifting communities and bolstering prosperity through thoughtful commercial real estate investment strategies. Initially hired as a financial analyst, Trail was honored as a 2023 Baltimore Business Journal’s 40 under 40 honoree. In 2012, after five years at COPT, Mike Trail embarked on a journey with MCB Real Estate. Armed with dedication, astute financial acumen, and innovative thinking, he began working on his personal computer, handling financial modeling for the firm.

He rose through the ranks, beginning with his appointment as Senior Associate in 2015. In a remarkable testament to his contributions, Trail earned partner status in 2022 when he became the Chief Investment Officer for the firm, reflecting his indispensable role in the firm’s sustained success.
